Wonderfully Made Nutrition Counseling currently accepts cash, check or card. We also accept HSA cards.

At the time of the appointment, we will run the card on file. Please allow 24 hr cancellation notice to not be charged for a full session fee unless of an emergency. We ask for Monday appointments to be cancelled by the end of the business day on Fridays.

Our practice is private pay. We do not accept insurance at this time; however, we can provide a Superbill (invoice with insurance code) to you after each session for possible reimbursement.

If interested in reimbursement, ask your insurance provider if nutrition counseling is a covered benefit within your plan (CPT codes 97802 and 97803). Coverage may also depend on the ICD-10 diagnosis code.

Sliding scale rates (reduced rates) can be provided on a case-by-case basis.

Good Faith Estimate

As of January 1, 2022, state-licensed or certified health care providers need to give a Good Faith Estimate of healthcare charges to every client who is either uninsured or is not planning to submit a claim to their insurance for the healthcare services they seek. As an out-of-network provider many of our clients will choose to not submit to their insurance provider therefore they are eligible to receive a Good Faith Estimate. The Good Faith Estimate is included in the Payment Policy form that new clients complete prior to an initial assessment.

All of our services are paid at the time of the appointment. We will never require clients to pre-pay for a session. We do have a 24 hour Cancellation Policy, which is also provided as part of the initial intake consent forms. This requires a 24 hour notice of cancellation in order to not be charged the full session fee for the missed appointment. For Monday appointments, we request a cancellation by end of the business day on Friday.

Most clients within our practice meet with a dietitian between 6 months and a year. However, it is ultimately up to the client to schedule the next appointment. Amount and frequency of sessions recommended can always be reassessed with your dietitian at any time.
